Dr. Kevin J. Bazner (he/him/his) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and serves as the Program Coordinator for the Master of Science in Higher Education Administration program.
His research focuses on higher education administration, minoritized leaders, and graduate student socialization. As a scholar, he has authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. Prior to entering the professoriate, Dr. Bazner spent over a decade working in student affairs and nonprofit administrative roles, serving higher education communities. This experience informs their commitment to bridging practice and scholarship in the field of higher education.
In addition to their academic and mentoring roles, Dr. Bazner serves on the editorial boards of The Journal of Diversity in Higher Education, Journal of Sorority and Fraternity Life Research and Practice, and Journal Committed to Social Change on Race and Ethnicity.
