Professional Bio
Currently, I serve as the Program Manager and HSI/MSI Funding Specialist at Texas Tech University, where I guide faculty in identifying funding opportunities, facilitate research development, and advance institutional capacity for serving Latina/o/e students. Previously, as the inaugural Director of HSI Initiatives and PI/Project Director for the Title V Sirviendo a los Estudiantes Grant, I led transformative initiatives, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, and built sustainable frameworks for HSI growth and success.
I am deeply engaged with national and state organizations, including leadership positions with the Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institution Educators (AHSIE), the Texas HSI Consortium (TXHSIC), and the Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education (TACHE). These roles reflect my commitment to advancing access, and success for minoritized communities in higher education.
As a scholar-practitioner, I continuously explore innovative solutions to promote inclusion while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the higher education experience for all students.
